We are bookending your week, every week with a couple of podcast episodes that we hope can provide insights on how to be a better marketer, sales pro, or operator in your B2B company.

We’ve been focusing on how we can maximize each piece of content that we’ve already created. Earlier this week we took our last digital event “Building a Culture Around Content Distribution” with Ali Schwanke, Founder and CEO at Simple Strat and made it available on the Modern Day Marketer podcast feed. 

Hosting events is a lot of work. It takes cross-functional collaboration, outreach and communication with external stakeholders, promotion, promotion, and some more promotion. It’s on us as marketers to make sure we’re doing everything in our power to maximize each event that we host. We’re having a lot of fun seeing some incredible results using Smarter Distribution to extend the life of our events on The Juice. I’ll be telling more stories about how we’re doing it coming soon.

Project management might not be something that comes to the top of our minds when thinking about the most important priorities of a modern day marketer, but maybe it should. Great marketers are excellent internal communicators. We can maximize our chances of being heard by our most important stakeholders by putting  systems in place that help us define purpose around our work.
