We are bookending your week, every week with a couple of podcast episodes that we hope can provide insights on how to be a better marketer, sales pro, or operator in your B2B company.
Have you ever thought about building out a B2B influencer strategy?
It seems to be all the rage right now, but before you go out and do a bunch of work that you still have a lot of questions about I’d encourage you to check out the conversation that we had with Patrick Ward, VP of Marketing at Rootstrap last week. Patrick has a lot of experience launching influencer strategies in B2C and B2B and brings a wealth of knowledge.
Some key takeaways for me were to play to your team’s strengths, focus on consistency rather than going viral, and engage with existing audiences. A ton of insight in this episode and one you won’t want to miss!
Before every quarter each member of The Juice teams puts our list of goals together for the quarter ahead and communicates what we are going to accomplish with the broader team. We call goals “rocks” and have found a nice system to keep each other not only updated, but accountable as we move forward.
I’m always curious how other teams set and report back on goals and thought it would be interesting to share how we do it for anyone in the planning stages. The biggest thing I’ve learned during this process is the rocks should be ambitious, but attainable.
In this episode we cover:
- The previous quarter: What we learned from the last 3 months and how we are going to use it as momentum as we start fresh
- WTF are “rocks”: where this concept comes from and why we use it
- Alignment: The method we use to align on each others Rocks each quarter
